Ambassador Aminu Abubakar Majidadi, the National President of Almushahid Initiative for Transparency and Accountability AITA expressed his shock over the demise of a former Chief of Defense Staff, Lt.-General Joshua Dogonyaro who died at the age of 80 in the early hours of Thursday in Jos.
During a press briefing in his Abuja residence, Majidadi describe the late General Dogonyaro as one of the best armies Nigeria has ever had considering his contribution at war front and in administration of the force.
Amb. Majidadi further said, “The death of Lt.-General Joshua Dogonyaro is indeed a big lost to Nigerian Armed Forces and Nigeria as a whole because we will all surely missed his advises looking at his verse wealth of experience.
“Late General Dogonyaro was a patriotic Nigerian who left us at this time of insecurity is surely a sad one but the Almighty Allah knows why he has to go at this time.”
“Late Dogonyaro was a veteran and fearless army general, who contributed during his life time in giving Nigeria army a positive image before the whole world. He was an elder statesman who was among few generals who believed in Nigeria and were there for the country’s unity, integrity and survival.” Majidadi said.
Inclusion, the veteran anti-corruption champion pray for the soul of the late general and condole his immediate family, the Armed Forces, President Buhari and Nigeria as a whole for the irreplaceable lost.
