Almushahid Initiative for Transparency and Accountability (AITA), an Abuja based anti-corruption, nongovernmental organization join millions of Nigerians and the entire Muslim Ummas in celebration of Eid-el Fitri which came after a month Ramadan fast.
Addressing newsmen in his Abuja resident, AITA National President, Ambassador Aminu Abubakar Majidadi expresses the organization’s best wishes to all Muslim friends, partners and well-wishers over the Sallah Celebration.
Amb. Majidadi urged Muslims to celebrate the moment in caution of doing what the Holy Qur’an have instructed Muslims to do at this event. He also called on the people to avoid extravagant expenditure having in mind that the times are hard and after Sallah, live continues.
He further advised Muslims to continue to pray for Allah’s intervention to Nigeria’s current insecurity situation, as only God can safe Nigeria from the ongoing acts of criminality.
“However, I will want to also say that Nigerians should at this time corporate with the security agencies in providing vital information on the bad eggs amongst them and possible hideout of the criminals proactively.” He added.
Finally, Majidadi pray for Allah’s acceptance of the sacrifices and supplications tendered during the Ramadan fast and wish all Muslims a memorable celebration of this Sallah and grace of God upon Nigeria and Nigeria.
