His Excellency, Ambassador Aminu Abubakar Majidadi, the National President of Almushahid Initiative for Transparency and Accountability (AITA) felicitate with Muslim Ummas on the celebration of this year’s Eid El Kabir marking the holiest festival in the Islamic calendar that honours the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son, Isma’il as an act of submission to God’s command, before God stopped him in his tracks, informing him that his sacrifice had already been accepted.

Speaking to newsmen at his Abuja residence, Amb. Majidadi enjoined Muslims to use this period and pray for Allah’s mercies over the challenges Nigeria is faced with at this time that includes insecurity, hunger and other social ills as they mark this year’s Eid-El-Kabir.

“This is a period for us as Nigerians to pray fervently for Allah’s intervention in the calamities bedeviling Nigeria and for Allah to help us in fighting our enemies who are after the down fall of this country.”

“May this unique festival of love and sacrifice bring us the peace, hope and fulfillment that we need to forge ahead in Nigeria and the world at large.” He stated.

Amb. Majidadi further urge Muslims to continue to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, kindness and sacrifice, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) and to also use the period to pray for peace, unity, prosperity and the stability of Nigeria.

In his prayer, the anti-corruption crusader said, “May Allah accept our Ibadah and grant us the strength to celebrate many more Sallah. May He forgive all our sins and give us the hope to live in his glory today and forever. Happy Eid El Kabir to Muslim Ummas all over the world and Nigerians.
