24 hours after leaving office, Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige is still performing official functions after the expiration of tenure of his boss President Muhammadu Buhari on the 29th, May 2023 in Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).
Peoplereporters gathered that Dr Ngige was cut at Chelsea Hotel Abuja on Tuesday, 30th , May , 2023 signing contracts and contract papers, consultancies, among many other crucial activities of the Ministry of Labour and Employment backdating all the official documents running into billions .
The source further said described as an aberration that a day after the expiration of Ex- President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure in office and assumption of duty of the new President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former Minister is still engaged.
A closely monitored movement at Chelsea Hotel Central Business District CBD Abuja confirmed unusual movement from the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund NSITF management in and out of the Hotel.
As at press time, Dr Chris Ngige was still busy endorsing and backdating official documents in NSITF.
It could be recalled that the former Managing Director of NSITF, Dr. Michael Akabogu has accused the former Minister of abuse of office through manipulations of procurement procedures in the agency.
