Amb. Majidadi Congratulates Newly Inaugurated Ministers, Urge them to Meet Nigerian’s Expectations

Ambassador Aminu Abubakar Majidadi, the National President of Almushahid Initiative for Transparency and Accountability (AITA) congratulated the newly sworn in ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by President Bola Tinubu on Monday.

Speaking after the inauguration ceremony of the ministers that was held at the Conference Hall in the Presidential Villa, the anti corruption fighter commended President Tinubu for putting in place his cabinet on time and ensuring process completed within a short period of time.

According to Majidadi, the ministers were sworn in at a time of urgent needs by Nigerians whose expectations are high considering the hardship the masses are passing through as the result of the subsidy removal.

“Indeed the expectations of Nigerians at this time is high and Nigerians are hoping that the new ministers can be able to within short period of time initiative and execute programs geared towards making life easier for the people.

The National President of AITA further congratulated all the sworn in ministers and wished them the best in their portfolios. He also cautioned them to devoid of corruption and other related activities, as AITA is much available to continued to partner with relevant antigraft agencies to check mate the ministers activities and ensure transparency and accountability.

President Tinubu during the inauguration said the ministers were selected based on personal experiences to continue with the work of nation-building noting that the challenges before them could be “very daunting” but that the government was hell-bent on the push to introduce a Renewed Hope.

The President urged the new ministers to note that their assignment begins immediately, even as he also urged them to restore faith in governance so that the governed could believe in government.

“I welcome you to the administration of Renewed Hope. We are in this boat (together); this is a vehicle and I am the driver. The entire Nigerians are watching as we navigate this vehicle. We have to do the job to meet the expectations of all Nigerians,” he maintained.

The event was witnessed by Senate President Godswill Akpabio; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, among other dignitaries.
