It was a case of different strokes for different folks on Tuesday in Abuja, the nation’s capital, as residents treated themselves to free beers when a truck loaded with beer fell over a few metres away from the popular Berger roundabout.

Shortly after the accident, some passersby and motorists were seen helping themselves with bottles of beer as they surrounded the truck.
The incident also attracted the attention of some Abuja ‘Big Boys’ with exotic cars and SUVs as they hurriedly pulled over and joined in the ‘feast’.
The scene was almost turned into a carnival as dispatch riders, Bolt and Uber drivers temporarily suspended their trips to partake in it.
Many residents were seen going home with crates of beer while some brought buckets and filled them up.
SaharaReporters gathered that the management of the company had ordered the driver to allow people to drink the content to avoid wastage.
Meanwhile some road safety officers were on standby to tow the truck away.
No life was lost in the incident.
