Flocoh Estate Club, Ipaja, Lagos has announced a week-long programme as part of activities to mark its 40th anniversary,
The programme includes a free medical outreach for residents of Ipaja and surrounding areas in Lagos State.
This was disclosed in a statement signed and released by the Chairman of the 40th Anniversary Planning Committee, Akinola Bashiru, on Sunday.
According to Bashiru, the medical outreach scheduled for Thursday, October 24, 2024, will provide free treatment for eye defects and general body checks.
Residents will also receive medications at no cost.
The Club President, Aina-Kushoro, emphasised the importance of the outreach, noting that it aims to assist residents during these challenging times.
“We want to ensure that many people in Ipaja and its environs benefit from this exercise, particularly in the detection and treatment of eye defects and general health screenings,” Aina-Kushoro said.
The week-long celebration will begin with a visit to homes of less privileged individuals and the unveiling of the Club’s Corporate Social Responsibility project on Tuesday, October 22.
On Wednesday, October 23, there will be sporting activities and games involving notable clubs, including the Island Club. Other events lined up include a Jumat service on Friday, October 25, followed by a members’ night and induction of honorary members.
The Club’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, October 26, while a Gala Night will follow later in the day.
The celebration will conclude with a Thanksgiving Church Service on Sunday, October 27.
