The Coordinator, Aquatic Bioresoures Development Centre Patigi in Kwara State, Mr Tukur Hashim has called on staffs of the centre to work in unity with a common goal to develop the centre and make NABDA proud.
During an inspection visit at the construction site of the centre’s permanent admin block in Patigi along with staffs, Mr Hashim urged the staffs to complement the effort of the agency under the current able and dynamic leadership of Professor Abdullahi Mustapha by working assiduously as a formidable team towards achieving the purpose for establishing the centre.
After inspecting the progress of the work, Mr Tukur pleaded with NABDA to mount more pressure on the contractor to add speed in the work to ensure timely completion and better quality work done.
The Coordinator also encouraged the staffs to show more commitment and professionalism in the management and development of the Bioresources currently available at the temporary site.
The Coordinator further reminded staffs on the need to be present at the headquarters in Abuja on Monday (15th May), very early for the verification.
Speaking on behalf of the staffs, Head Account of the centre, Mr Sunny Negedu commended the DG of NABDA for the reforms all round the agency. Mr Negedu also applauded the Coordinator for his resilient, hard work, dedication and all inclusive kind of leadership.
The Head Account advised all the staffs complement the efforts of the agency and the centre by putting in their best and ideas towards achieving tangible results.
After the visit, all staffs returned to the temporary site and to their various units for continuation of activities.
