An unlicensed foreign exchange dealer, identified as Chike Nosa Agada, who was recently declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over his alleged nefarious activities in the foreign exchange market, has been nabbed by the operatives of the Lagos Zonal Command of the commission. It was gathered he was arrested at a residence in the Bourdillion, Ikoyi area of Lagos on Monday, October 16, 2023, during a sting operation by the operatives of the commission, following credible intelligent information linking him to the alleged fraud.
The 37-year-old native of Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, it would be recalled, was declared wanted by the EFCC on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, for allegedly obtaining money by false pretence and stealing by conversion to the tune of N2 billion.
The commission said upon arrest, a mobile phone device was recovered from him.
